The following are all within ten minutes drive; Wadworth Brewery - has a visitor centre and conducts brewery tours and you can usually visit their shire horses after they have made their morning deliveries in Devizes. Caen Hill Locks - The famous flight of 29 locks at Caen Hill on the Kennet Avon canal are just a 15 minute walk away. Bowood - House and golf course is worth a visit for you golfers or just to walk its beautiful rhododendron gardens. Lacock village and Abbey - where numerous filming takes place including Cranford Harry Potter. Cities of Bath, Bristol and Salisbury and Swindon are all less than an hours drive as is the grandeur and adventure of Longleat House and Safari Park. Walkers / cyclists are welcome to stay with us as you explore the terrific byways and footpaths that abound in Wiltshire. The Wessex Ridgeway and Wansdyke Path are just two of the more well known and from the top of Roundway Hill the Vale of Pewsy will open out before you in all its glory.
